What you need to know
Whatever the weather, this geometric cape design by Vivian Høxbro is exactly what your wardrobe is missing.
Extracted from The Domino Knitting Directory by Vivian Høxbro, this classic cape is a wonderful introduction to modular knitting. Vivian named it the City Cape because the pattern inside the mustard-coloured frame is inspired by the pinstripe suits of the City of London. Made from just six large squares, this smart cape is perfect for wrapping around you when the weather turns chilly. The sample is worn with the armholes positioned vertically, but it can also be turned upside down, giving you the option of narrower fronts.
